Our Process:

You garment will be on consignment for 60 days, longer for formal wear and special items.
You will have an account number.
Your garments will be numbered with your account number.
You may choose "In-Store Credit": You will receive 50% of the sales price if you choose to obtain an in-store credit. After the contract expires, you will have a credit on your account to be used at anytime.
You may choose "Mail My Check": You will receive 40% of the sales price if you choose to receive a check at the end of the contract. The commission will be paid by check through mail from Fashion Emporium within 14 days of expiration of contract.
Our experienced fashion consultant will place your garments at a fair, marketable price. We reserve the right to reduce the price at any time.
You may pick-up your garments at anytime. Please call ahead of time for pick-up arrangements.
You will receive a notice that your contract is to expire with a date for pick-up of garments not sold.
Should you choose to donate your unsold garments, feel free to call us and we will make the arrangements.
We donate unsold garments to: Wounded Soldiers Program, Salvation Army, and St Vincent de Paul.

Consigning Your Garments:

Be critical - When considering a consigned garment, ask yourself critically if you would purchase the garment at a consignment boutique.
Freshly Laundered - Clothing is to be freshly laundered, pressed, and on a hanger.
Mint Condition - Clothing will be free of damage and signs of wear (spots, missing buttons, tears, broken zipper, and moth holes.
Seasonal - Clothing is to be of appropriate season.
Designers, imported, small boutique garments- Clothing shall be a better department store brand (Macy’s, Dillard’s, Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Saks Fifth Avenue), imported, or small boutique.
Consigning is Emotional! - San Antonio has a unique, casual style. Some of your garments may not be suited for our boutique due to the special needs of our clients. Please do not be offended if your beloved suit is returned or did not sell.
